في إطار شغفي بالتصوير الفوتوغرافي وسعيي الدائم لالتقاط لحظات تعكس حوارات بصرية بين الأزمنة، كان لي الشرف بالمشاركة في معرض "قصص تتكون" الذي أقيم في أحلام جاليري. قدمت في هذا المعرض عملاً فوتوغرافيًا واحدًا يحمل في طياته قصة تجمع بين الحداثة والتاريخ، مستوحاة من روح مدينة الرياض.
رؤية العمل الفني
يعكس عملي الفني مفهوم التعايش بين الماضي والحاضر في المشهد العمراني للرياض. يظهر مترو الرياض الحديث وهو يعبر الجسر المرتفع في مقدمة الصورة، بينما تهيمن على الخلفية أبراج المركز المالي بتصاميمها المعمارية العصرية. وفي مزج بصري مبتكر، تتداخل معالم العمارة الطينية التراثية التي تعكس هوية نجد العريقة.
ما يمنح الصورة قوتها البصرية هو زاوية الالتقاط المدروسة التي ساعدت على تحقيق توازن فني بين العناصر المختلفة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، لعبت عملية الدمج دورًا محوريًا في تعزيز التكوين، مما جعل المشهد يبدو وكأنه يعبر عن حوار متواصل بين الماضي والحاضر. كما أن الألوان الدافئة والسماء البرتقالية أضافت بُعدًا زمنياً يعكس الشعور بالانتقال والتطور المستمر للمدينة.
التجربة والمعرض
كانت مشاركتي في معرض "قصص تتكون" تجربة غنية من حيث التفاعل مع الجمهور، حيث تلقيت آراءً متعددة حول العمل وكيفية تفسير كل مشاهد له وفقًا لزاويته الخاصة. المعرض بحد ذاته كان مساحة للإبداع والتواصل، جمع فنانين برؤى متنوعة، لكل منهم أسلوبه الخاص في سرد القصص من خلال الفن.
هذه التجربة ألهمتني لمتابعة استكشاف السرد البصري في أعمالي القادمة، والاستمرار في توثيق الحوارات الخفية

My Participation in "Stories Forming" – Ahlam Gallery - Riyadh

As part of my passion for photography and my constant pursuit of capturing moments that reflect visual dialogues between different eras, I had the honor of participating in the "Stories Forming" exhibition at Ahlam Gallery. In this exhibition, I presented a single photographic work that tells a story intertwining modernity and history, inspired by the essence of Riyadh.
The Vision Behind the Artwork
My artwork embodies the concept of coexistence between the past and present in Riyadh’s urban landscape. The image features the Riyadh Metro gliding along an elevated track in the foreground, while the striking skyscrapers of the Financial District dominate the background. In an innovative visual blend, traditional Najdi mud-brick architecture seamlessly merges into the composition, symbolizing the city's deep-rooted heritage.
What gives this image its visual strength is the carefully considered angle of capture, which helps establish a harmonious balance between the different elements. Additionally, the fusion process played a key role in enhancing the composition, making the scene appear as a continuous dialogue between past and present. The warm tones and orange sky further add a temporal dimension, evoking a sense of transition and the city’s ongoing evolution.
The Experience and Exhibition
Participating in the "Stories Forming" exhibition was an enriching experience, allowing me to engage with the audience and hear diverse interpretations of my work. Each viewer brought their own perspective, offering unique insights into the story conveyed through the image.
The exhibition itself was a space for creativity and interaction, bringing together artists with diverse visions, each telling their own stories through art.
This experience has inspired me to continue exploring visual storytelling in my future works and to keep documenting the hidden dialogues that emerge between places, time, and light.
